Taco Salad lunch (chicken, beef or vegetable) for $20 is available with advance RSVP to Beth Bywater, 1700 Trower Ave., Napa. The case has the potential to make clear that the denial of equal athletic participation opportunities and equal athletic financial assistance opportunities is in violation of Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 that prohibits sex discrimination in education. Mansourian was a member of the UC Davis wrestling team with three other women. They trained, competed and were scholarship recipients while participating on the collegiate team, as other women wrestlers previously had been. When the participation of women was terminated, these student athletes lost their scholarships, insurance and other benefits while their male counterparts did not.
